Sealing rings-V-shaped U-shaped Y-shaped rubber seal

The sealing ring is mainly used to seal the gas against oil, water and corrosion to prevent leakage. The role of various sealing rings: O-rings are mainly used for static sealing and reciprocating sealing. When used for rotary motion seals, it is limited to low-speed rotary seals. The V-shaped sealing ring is generally installed in the groove with a rectangular cross-section on the outer or inner circle to play a sealing role. The V-shaped seal is an axially acting elastic rubber seal used as a pressureless seal for the shaft.
V-shaped rubber seal: It is a kind of rubber seal for reciprocating motion. The cross-section is V-shaped and is rarely used alone. Generally, it is used in combination with a pressure ring with a cloth cloth, a support ring and several V-shaped sealing rings. The number of sealing rings depends on the sealing pressure. The V-shaped sealing ring is molded by tape or pure rubber. The rubber material is generally NBR. The pressure ring and the support ring are generally pressed with a harder tape. The support ring can also be pressed with hard plastic. V-seal assemblies are mainly used for piston rods and plungers of heavy equipment. This seal assembly provides good stability and good wear resistance, and prevents the seal ring from being squeezed into the gap, even under harsh conditions, such as axial or radial vibration, sudden pressure, temperature changes etc. still provide the best sealing effect. It is suitable for media such as hydraulic oil, water and emulsion. The operating pressure can reach more than 40 MPa, the surface linear speed is generally 0.5m•s-1, and the operating temperature is -30 ~ 120 ℃.

U-shaped rubber seal: It is a kind of rubber seal for reciprocating motion. The section is U-shaped, referred to as U-shaped seal. There are two types of rubber type and cloth type. Generally, the cloth type U-shaped seal is often used in combination with a pure rubber support ring. This type of cloth U-shaped seal is mainly used on the piston rod and hydraulic plug of the hydraulic cylinder. For hydraulic oil, water and emulsified oil, etc. Because the adhesive tape has a good surface structure, it can maintain good lubrication when sliding on the metal surface, reduce friction and wear, and improve performance. . The working oil pressure is generally 25 MPa, the maximum pressure limit is 35 MPa, the line speed is 0.5 m•s-1, and the operating temperature is -30 to 120 ℃. The use conditions of pure rubber U-shaped seals are roughly the same as those of Y-shaped seals.

Y-shaped rubber sealing ring is a kind of rubber seal used for reciprocating motion. The cross-section is Y-shaped, referred to as “Y-shaped seal”. It is generally used for the operating system of hydraulic or pneumatic transmission, and plays a sealing role in the piston, piston rod and cylinder body. It can be made of high-hardness nitrile rubber, or cast with polyurethane rubber, and can also be made into a combination type of cloth. This kind of product has simple structure, good sealing effect, and has a self-sealing effect when the pressure increases, but the roots of pure rubber products are easy to be extruded under high pressure. Generally, pure rubber Y-shaped seals are suitable for occasions where the oil pressure is less than 16 MPa, the line speed is less than 0.5 m•s-1, and the temperature is -30 to 120 °C. Multi-lip reciprocating rubber sealing ring: It is a composite rubber seal with more than two sealing lips. There are different cross-sectional structures according to the conditions of use. Most of them are composed of NBR and tape layer with fabric. The two can be directly molded into one body, or they can be molded and vulcanized separately and combined into a sealing body. The sealing surfaces are equipped with multiple sealing lips and lubricating oil grooves, so that a small amount of lubricating oil is retained on the sealing lip surface during operation, which reduces friction and heat dissipation. When in use, there are generally two plastic retaining rings on the upper and lower parts of the seal to prevent the sealing ring from being squeezed into the gap under high pressure. Depending on the structure, the working pressure is generally 20-40MPa, and the linear speed is 0.1-0.2m·s-1, which can work in hydraulic oil, water and emulsion.
