The temperature resistance range of natural rubber

under normal circumstances, the lowest temperature that rubber can withstand is about minus 200 degrees, and the highest temperature that can be tolerated is about 300 degrees. How much high temperature rubber can withstand is generally determined according to the material and filler of the rubber. For example, the maximum temperature that a natural rubber sponge can withstand is around 100 degrees.

Rubber is divided into natural rubber and synthetic rubber. Natural rubber is made by extracting colloid from rubber trees, rubber grass and other plants after processing; synthetic rubber is obtained by polymerization of various monomers. Rubber products are widely used in all aspects of industry or life.

Natural rubber is made from latex, and part of the non-rubber components contained in the latex remain in the solid natural rubber. Generally, natural rubber contains 92%-95% of rubber hydrocarbons, while non-rubber hydrocarbons account for 5%-8%. Due to different production methods, different production areas and even different rubber picking seasons, the proportions of these components may be different, but they are basically within the range.
